Have You Heard about the Lion Fish Problem in Florida?

Do you even know what a Lion Fish is? Most people see these types of fish only in aquariums. They are quite fascinating, but they really don’t look appetizing.
The Lion Fish is not the friendliest of fish either.  They have spike like fins that are venomous.  You don’t want to get too close.  A marine conservation group in Florida has come up with what, they think, is a solution to the over population of the fish in the Florida Keys.  Apparently, these fish are wreaking....

The Leadbeater's Cockatoo a Unique Bird


Aside from the flamingo, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful bird. This bird is also called the Major Mitchell Cockatoo or the Pink Cockatoo, and is native to Australia. It has the most beautiful coloring of white and salmon pink. My experience of seeing the bird was on a visit to the Denver Zoo. My two year old granddaughter was completely enthralled by the two Leadbeater’s Cockatoos that were on display there.
